Although originally Italian, she has mastered the gorgeous French look perfectly. You can't deny she has style, and she's even been spotted wearing Dior shoes, specially made of course, and has been spotted in YSL and Chanel. Because of her height, she wears a lot of flats which look perfect on her. If she wore heels, there would be a huge height difference between her and husband, Nicholas Sarkozy, so its very clever of her to stick to flats. (BTW, is anyone else slightly attracted to him?)
On a recent trip to Britain, the country decided that we loved her. She's beautiful, very chic and has truely amazing style. She was an ex-model and the Guardian Newspaper even compared her to Jackie Kennedy, and it even said that she did the perfect curtsey to the Royal family, showing her incredible poise.
Her grey tailored outfits are really something, showing her as diplomatic as well as fashionable. And how gorgeous is that hat!? However, Carla doesn't really play with colour in clothes and prefers to play it safe with blues and greys. I think this works for her and her role as French First Lady and nothing she wears can be boring. By sticking to classic colours, she looks more sophisticated and more the part. But she does like her bolts of purple, which look amazing on her, especially her bright purple coat, paired with a grey suit.

Let me know if there are any other women you'd like to see in this series of posts.
P.S. The competition for our header is now CLOSED! Thank you to everyone for voting. The winner of the skirt will officially be announced tomorrow. Just to let you now, we're picking the winner by putting all names in a hat and picking one out at random. Good luck.
