Read it and let me know what you think. I thought it was really interesting and am definitely re-thinking my getting into shape regime!
It basically says that exercise doesn't necessarily allow you to lose weight because you allow yourself to eat more as a reward.

And finally, its time for another giveaway!!! I swear we spoil you. I know I've written lots of articles about my trip to Barcelona and thanks for putting up with them. I did get a magnet from Barcelona for one of our readers. I know it's nothing special but I love buying souvenirs. I like having a little something that reminds me of a place and a few magical days. While buying myself a magnet, I had to buy one for you guys.
To enter, just leave a comment and tell us the best experience you've had. For me, it has to be either rock climbing or abseiling. I was scared to do both of them and never thought I'd get to the end, but I did and I had a massive sense of achievement when I finished.

P.S. The brilliant Glamorous Grad Student posted a City Chic with me and Leia. Check it out here. For those of you who don't know what that is, its where A asks people questions about their city. Its a great way to get to know a city, and is really useful if you're planning a trip there. For more about A, check out our Style Swap with her.

Firstly, congrats! For the awards.
Secondly, the GGS's City Chic piece on you was great.
Congratulations on all the awards!
The best experience I've ever had...Travelling by myself and finding my independence. It's the most amazing feeling in the world.
Congrats Honey!
XoXo
Congrats on the awards! You two really deserve it! Your blog is fabulous!
Thank you so much for passing an award on to me! So sweet!
congrats on the awards! xx
Wow ~ congrats on all your awards, darlings!
And thanks for a fab giveaway; the best travel experience I've had was staying at a yoga retreat in Costa Rica and learning to surf!

First, that Time article was fascinating. I have gained 20 pounds in the past year and everyone has been telling me that I need to join a gym and exercise it off. But it goes so much farther than that...cutting back on fatty foods is really the key. I think exercise PLUS eating healthier is the solution to losing weight. Drinking lots of water too...
Anyway, congrats on the awards! Thanks for passing one of them on to me. :)
And what a sweet giveaway! Hmm...one of the best experiences I had was skiing for the first time. My friend and I hit the slopes in Colorado a few years ago and it was exhilarating and scary and amazing all at the same time!
Congratulations on all the awards - definitely well-deserved.
I love this giveaway. I have a passion for Barcelona due to the fact that I had pen pals who lived there when I was younger. We never met, but I'll always remember them.
Let's see...I don't have a greatest travel experience, but I have another experience...passing my Communications class. Honestly, I know it sounds humorous, but I was ridiculously shy as a child, and thought that I would never pass my Communications class in college. I actually dropped it twice before finishing it. In the end, I passed, and felt so amazing about it. I was able to give speeches about topics that interested me - I covered eating disorders a couple of times - and gained so much confidence. That was just last year - the class ended right before Christmas 2008. So yeah...that was the best experience for me. :)
Thank you for the award! I love that my blog gets an award for being inspirational! That is so important! I think the same about HiFashion!
Oh hi Sherin!!! the magnet is so beautiful I love to buy souvenirs too!!! My two greatest experiences were living in Vienna for an entire year and getting married... both changed my life for good.
I love this sweet giveaway! Glad you could share something personal with your readers :) The best experience I ever had: my first fashion interview for a magazine. I interviewed Christopher Kane. I knew right then, after the adrenaline rush and the creativity of it all, that I wanted to switch my career to fashion writing. :)
Congratulations on so many awards!
Hope to see you soon.
Take care
congratulations!
Thank you so much for the award!! You girls are too sweet and Congratulations on all your well deserved awards!!
My best experience was meeting my husband and getting married. So scary and life altering, but all for the best possible ways.

Thanks for my room comments, I was so excited when I finally finished.
Oh I love rock climbing...well bouldering, its scary cause you dont have a harness, but thrilling!
I think my best experience was at a rock climbing gym, where a group of people I worked with at school, did an activity for leadership and trusting each other. we climbed about 15 feet I think, with a partner and had to cross a single line of wire helping each other and having the rest of the group support us, I remember holding on to my partner really tight, and taking turns on making it to the other side with out falling.
Then everyone took a turn to go even higher about 40 ft where we made a promise to our team and jumped off grabbing a white flag in the middle tied to a rope!! That was so extremely difficult for me to do cause I am terrified of heights! But I did it for my team, and it was a great experience that really made us stronger and gave us something to connect us all together.
omg i wrote a lot!!
xoxo anna
YOU ARE SO COOL!! you sound like such a fun and nice person :D
yaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy

Congrats on the awards. Back to the Time article, I completely agree. If you want to lose weight, eat sensibly and exercise to tone the muscles after you lose weight. That's me justifying my laziness to exercise. LOL. Thanks for sharing, it made me feel good.
Congrats on all of your VERY well-deserved awards, dahlins!!! And thank you SOOO much for awarding one to me!
My fav traveling experience happened when I was little. My grandmother took me to London and we were constantly convinced that we were lost. So we would frantically hail a cab to take us back to our hotel so we could regroup from being so terribly lost. We would hop in a cab and then the driver would take us... around the corner. Turns out we weren't as lost as we thought (lol)
thank u so much for the nice compliment on my blog. i will now be following u ! =)
congratulations w/ all the rewards...your blog is fabulous!!!
Congrats on the awards and what a fun giveaway, I loved Barcelona when I went there! XO!
Congratulations on all the awards!
Congratulations!!!
I want to got to Barcelona, too!
The best experience that I had is having the chance to live in Japan. I love traveling a lot! :D
I don't know if I exactly agree with that article. I know plenty of people who have a healthy balance between exercise and food consumption. And, I personally have never over consumed food as a result of feeling entitled to it after a hard workout.
The best experience(s) I've had were
1. Traveling from Michigan to North Dakota by train to see my brother. The train was huge, and I loved seeing the American landscape. It was also the first time I'd traveled alone.
2. I went to Alicante, Spain for spring break this year to see one of my friends from high school. I hadn't seen her in 4 years (and I'd never seen Spain before). It was incredible. She was studying abroad in Spain; she's fluent in the language now.
aww!!!!!!!!!! thank you so so much for the award beautiful! MWA
