So, basically I went to Pakistan for my cousin's wedding. Traditionally, the weddings last for about 3 days, which is always great for dressing up. I flew in the morning of the first day, so needless to say I was quite jetlagged for that first night.
Anyway, heres a round-up of my wedding outfits:
Day 1: I loved my make up more than anything here. According to my dad it looked fairly '1920's'. I'll hopefully put a tutorial up about it in the next few days. I only saw the outfit for the first time about an hour before. My mum bought the fabric and had it made before I got there. I honestly didn't like it at first, but it grew on me. I'm also wearing this headband. Turns out no one in Pakistan had seen headbands before, so everyone loved them!
Day 2: This was my favourite outfit of the wedding. You can't really see it in the picture, but the trousers were really baggy and was very layered! There was also sequins around the trousers, making them really heavy to walk in. I was also wearing this headband. Again, I was getting compliments on it all night. Unfortunately, wasn't having the best day, thus the puffy eyes. But I did love my eyeshadow. It was a beautiful shade of green, and I bought it the day before. The brand is 'luscious', which I hadn't heard of before, but I love the eye make up so much that I went back for more!
Day 3: This is me after 3 days of no sleep (Pakistani weddings tend to start at about 11pm and go well into the mornings!). Benefit concealer did make life a lot easier though. I think I've posted about this outfit before, and I'm also wearing a headband that was similar, but smaller, then the one for 'Day 2'.Because I was in a fairly traditional country, my usual outfits wouldn't cut it, so I had to re-invent my style for the 10 days I was there. It was actually quite warm there and here are examples of what I was wearing (no outfit posts due to mosquito bites all over my face!!)

I also spent a lot! I saw a lot of H&M style shops while out and about, and the prices were good, so I managed to buy loads of clothes and shoes. Hopefully, they'll be making appearances in recent outfit posts.

Sherin, I love all your native outfits... and they are so colorful. I hope Filipino weddings are like yours, we are so westernized that we tend to forget our own native attires which I tell you are really great too.
Wish I can shoot a Pakistani wedding, I had shoot some Indian weddings before and they also used their traditional attires.
Merry Christmas to you and Leia!
Wow - you look absolutely amazing! I love the fabrics and patterns - so bright and beautiful!

I hope you had fun! these outfits are fun, and so jealous you got to spend so much at an international H&M!
All three outfits look pretty great (and so comfortable; are they?), but the third one suits you just marvelously.
All your outfits were so DARLING!! And you are so pretty in all of them. I'm happy you had a fantastic time at the wedding and I must admit I'm a bit envious. A three day wedding?! Now that is what I call a celebration!! So glad to see you back home after your holiday. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas.
Your outfits and the make-up are fabulous Sherin! I always love seeing South Asian weddings because the clothes are so pretty and colorful and the women wear a lot of bling which I love very much. lol! :)
I hope that you're okay now.Must be the extreme change of temperature, that and those sleepless party-filled nights in Pakistan could lower down the body's defenses.
Merry Christmas to you and Leia! :)
Amazing! Merry christmas:)
You look absolutely beautiful in traditional garb. LOVE IT.
Sherin you look absolutely beautiful!!!! I love your three outfits... they are amazing... and please you have to make the tutorial for your make up... well I want to wish you and Leia the best for these holidays!!! I'm so glad I've found your blog, you've become really nice friends!!!
Just found your blog! Loves it! Merry Christmas! xo Mitsy
Gorgeous shalwar kemize. I too have to go back to Pakistan for my cousins wedding soon, and I'm looking forward to the excitement, but not the lack of sleep that accompanies it!

I love all the rich colors and details on your three outfits! Good idea to make them more modern by adding a headband.

That was good planning with the pre-made blog posts! Loved seeing these outfits, particularly the 2nd one. The details absolutely sparkle :)
You look so lovely in ALL your outfits! Yes I saw you on the NL video with Hannah! The shoot was so much fun...but really tiring too. I was told that usually they film over 2 days in London...second day is usually the style wars? We did everything in a day and it was crazzzy but fun. Was a bit wierd having French shoppers watching us..we didn't get an empty store like you guys!
You look so pretty in all your outfits, your wearing your headband awww =)
Ooh, look for day # 3 is my absolute favorite - and your hair looks gorg!!
So glad you had a fun time, Sherin!! :)
