New Look S/S 2010 Press Launch Part 1

Leia and I were really lucky to be invited to New Looks Press Event for their S/S 2010 collection. We went on Wednesday, when they were previewing their womenswear and menswear, which isn't out until January/February next year.

I wore my Over The Knees (New Look) and a H&M Plaid shirt .My skirt was from a small un-named shop in North London.
I was wearing my We Love Colors tights, ASOS skirt, Zara belt, Zara v-neck top (Mum's - making it comfy and slouchy), and Davina booties.

But anyway, onto the collection: We both absolutely loved everything. There were lots of different collection and both me and Leia had our clear favourites. Everything from really rock chic styles to more retro feminine pieces were displayed and we both agreed that it was refreshing to see so many different styles under one roof. There was so much to see that we're splitting the post in two, so that each collection gets the attention it deserves.

Blush
I think that if it was physically possible, Leia would marry this collection! It was a beautiful collection. There were a lot of bright and fresh colours, as well as a lot of pastels, such as beige and pink. There was also a lot of lace here as well. I have been seeing a lot of lace recently, so it looks like this is a hot trend for S/S 2010.

I also did find one amazing piece here. It was a grey, studded, leather ves
t. Now, I know Leia's not a stud fan, but even she had to admit that this looked good.

I must, must, must have this lace-effect coat! It's awesome, as is everything else in the Blush collection. Pastels, lace, ruffles, and pretty feminine things - I want it all!

Mash

This was a very cool collection, and one of my faves! It was very 'rock chic', with a lot of blacks and greys.
It also had one of the coolest t's I've ever seen.
The T-shirt on the left was amazing. I'm a huge T fan and thought this was so perfect.
It's definitely something I'm going to buy when the collection comes out.

Idol
We've written about Idol in the past and have always loved it. The Spring/Summer 2010 collection definitely lived up to expectations!!!

Again, there were a lot of studs and silver jewellery, which I am very happy about. I really can't wait to wear some super cool studs next season. There was also a lot of black and this collection had the same rock chic vibe that Mash did.

The jewellery with the Idol collection wasexactly what you'd expect from such a collection. And the shoes were magnificant. I love the booties with the studs!

Aren't the silver-wedge booties reminiscent of these Chanel ones? A great way to get the look for less!

Glam Athletic
I can't believe I didn't pictures of this collection!!! It was a very good one. There were a lot of blue and greys, along side some yellows.

Global Pirate

I really loved the name of this collection and the pieces were great as well. I saw a lot of black and pinks here. It carried on from the Mash collections, but with a bit more femininity. There were Maxi dresses, alongside lots of frays.
But we both agreed, that this swimsuit was AMAZING!!!

It was so sexy!

Cowboy Crinoline:
It's no secret, I love denim. I love jeans, denim skirts, jackets etc, so you can imagine my glee when I saw this collection! There was a lot of denim and some gorgeous white pieces, that had one shoulders.

Come back in a couple of days, where we'll be reviewing the rest of the collection!

You both look fabulous. I guess you know what collection I'm eyeing right now... the IDOL collection. Naturally with the black overload in that collection, I definitely love it. And that studded booties is a must have in my list.

You guys are pretty lucky to get that access, and you showed up looking cute.

Like the commenter above, Idol is my favorite :)

Daaarn, you two get everywhere! :]

It's all looking pretty good, actually. I haven't shopped in New Look since.. before GCSEs? Seven years? But maybe I'll be venturing back in next year. For a look at least!

You both look lovely in your casual outfits!

I'll definitely buy something from each collection if I have a limitless shopping budget. All the collections are special in their own way.

Looks like Leia is quite taken in with the Blush and you Sherin with the Mash and the studs. ;)

Oh I have such a weakness for New Look shoes! I have my eye on a pair of brown booties in my local store at the moment.
The 'Blush' collection looks gorgeous- the colour palette is so pretty.

Ooh, I love Cowboy Crinoline - it reminds me of the D&G runway show, mixing girly with more rustic accents. Can't wait to read the rest of your reviews, darlings! :)
