The Second Louboutin Barbie

A couple of months ago, we mentioned that Louboutin and Barbie were pairing up and lanching some exclusive Barbies. The first one was a Cat Burgalar, and we did a post about it, which you can check out here.
Net-a-Porter have just launched the second one in the collection.

This Barbie is called the 'Dolly Forever' Barbie and was available from the 3rd March. Its very inspired by the current military trend, as she is wearing a Khaki safari dress and very high fuchsia boots. The point of this one is that she's dressed to navigate the urban jungle. The doll also comes with 3 addidtional pairs of Louboutins (with shoe boxes, of course) and adorable pink sunglases.

Yup, so I really want to be her! I don't even have on pair of Louboutins, and she's on her second set! The next one is one is due in May and as from the pictures I've seen, she is in a gorgeous dress!

Love the pink..I guess you couldn't make the clothes for her..huh? I used to play with barbies with my brother. He was Axel and I was Barbra Jean. We were bank robbers.

Is it sad that I always wanted to "be" Barbie and I still do? Naturally every female jungle explorer must don the latest in Louboutin heels! Love it!

I wish they had Barbies this stylish when I was growing up! But then again I might have grown up to crave high priced foot wear. My bank account is happier with the sensible Barbies I had.

Barbie has it all. Lucky girl! Lol. I actually collect Barbies so if I could get my hands on one of these, it would be fun. :P

My, my, that 51-year old doll sure has expensive taste :)

Ah cute but I'm a firm believer in that dolls are there to be played I could never buy a Barbie and just have it sit on a shelf unused!

Clare said...

Ahhh I love this! Have you seen the Mad Men barbies? Those are AWESOME!!
