Yesterday, Sherin shared all the gossip from the Aussie party we went to on Saturday night, so I thought I'd show you some pictures I took!
Before the party, I had washed my hair and left it in its natural, wavy/curly, uncombed, frizzy state, ready for the hairdresser to perform a miracle!
Can someone help me with my frizzy hair?!
This is what my hair looked like after the amazing hairdresser (you can see her picture in the post below, posing with Sherin) had worked her magic.
Maria was so talented with making headpieces!
Danni's headpiece had such bright, perky, fun colors:
You can find Maria and Danni at Frills n Spills.
This was Tessa getting her hair done (sorry about the blurry picture) - I loved her ringlets and she was wearing the prettiest dress. Nope, that's not tea in her teacup - it was some sort of fruit punch with rum, I think! By the way, I can't find Tessa's blog, so if anyone knows the URL please pass it on.
Here was Amy - her hair was done in pretty 40s-style pin curls.
And here's the headband she made:
Lil (in the back) and her friend sporting their fabulous headpieces! I think it was her birthday that night - hope you had a fun evening, Lil!
Lyd looking lovely!
Ellie was also at the party though I didn't get any pictures of her. Stop by her blog if you have a minute - she's written a great article about the evening along with awesome pictures!
Here was our friend Katie getting her hair done:
I snapped these pictures quickly when I got home to show off my headband -
Wearing: Boohoo sequin t-shirt dress,
ASOS plum tights,

Hope you're all having a great week! Mine has been hectic, and as you read this I'm probably in (yet another) exam. Good luck to all of you who are studying/taking finals this week.
And for those of you who have frizzy hair, what are your tips for battling the frizz?
