It's Aussie Time!!!

I recently became an Aussie Angel and was very happy about this. Aussie is an amazing hair care company and their products smell so divine. I joined their Frizz Miracle Tribe and they hosted a Mad Hatters Tea Party on Saturday. I was allowed to take 2 guests, so I decided on Leia (like I could go without her), and our good friend Katie.
Firstly, heres what I wore:
As it was a Mad Hatters Party, the attire was mad. Unfortunately, I don't own too many mad items, so I decided on this slightly crazy skirt (Thrifted, but it's from Next). My shoes are New Look and My top is Dorothy Perkins.

The party was amazing. It was a lovely girl's night, and exactly what I needed after my hectic week. It was hosted at the Mews of Mayfair, just off Bond Street, and the place was fantastic! The room with the party was gorgeous, and there were also hairstylists on hand to help and control our Frizzy Hair.

We started off by mingling with fellow Aussie Angels and the Aussie Team (who were all lovely and so inviting) and we shared our Frizz tips. I was very happy to finally meet Maria and Danni from Frills 'n' Spills, both looking gorgeous! The food there was also amazing (the springrolls were to die for, as were the small tomato/cheese canapes). I think I embarrassed myself with all my eating, hehe.

After mingling, we all got our hair done, by the very impressive hairstylists. Our friend Katie has long straight hair, so it was so cool to see her with curls. Both Leia and I were very happy with our hair as well!

And finally, we were able to make our own headbands/fascinators!!! Katherine's Millinery, a millenery company, were there and had bought bundles of plain headbands, hats, feathers and buttons, so that we could be as creative as we wanted!



Making them was so much fun. I'm not one to usually do creative things, so this was a really good change for me. Although, I must have looked a sight with the thread and needle in my hand, not knowing what to do next, to Leia's dismay. Lol, I think I embarrassed poor Leia!
