Jimmy Choo

...written by Sherin

Last week, I was lucky enough to go to the Jimmy Choo store, in Sloane Street, to check out their new Trainers range. For the last few weeks Jimmy Choo have been doing a campaign, where they tweet and foursquare where they are in the city and you have to run and find them, and if you do, you win an exclusive pair of their new trainers. It was hard as they were only in a place for a short time, but someone eventually caught up with them and won a pair, and this was an event to say thank you to everyone who took part.

I'm a huge sneakers fan and quite liked the new trainers. I know trainers aren't what you think of when you think 'Jimmy Choo', but these definitely fit in well with the rest of the store.
They're made from a combination of patent leathert, suede and exotic snake skin. These trainers are definitely perfect for a low key day.

My favourite ones are definitely these hi-tops. I can see myself looking very chic, while running around and doing errands. I can't really afford them yet...but fingers crossed that one day, these babies will be mine.
The soles of the shoes looked really cool as well. Sorry for the bluriness of the picture: I took loads and this was the best one.

As the store was closed off for us, we were also given the chance to explore the rest of the store and mingle in the beauty of all the shoes, while eating delicious cupcakes. I managed to catch up with Jenny from The Style PA and she was lovely to talk to.

Here are some of my favourites from the store:

What do you think of the collection??

Awesome especially those snakeskin high heels, too bad I have a small arch. The trainers are simply chic and yes, expensive too. hahaha!

I don't wear trainers - the only exception is when walking in the woods, which I do daily. The collection is a bit funky which is a good thing. I love the high-heels sandals, though;-)

Hmm I don't know that I'd be so willing to spend so much for some sneakers (or trainers, such a better word!) as I usually only wear them to work out though they are lovely. I think I'd rather save my money for one of those beautiful heels!
