Aren't they sweet?I've also just had a look at Shanghai Tang's A/W 10 press release. The theme of this collection is "Devastating Beauty" and this is the idea behind it: "While others may focus on the devastation of industrialization and urbanization, Shanghai Tang – with its mission as the global ambassador of contemporary Chinese chic, celebrates the optimistic spirit and resilient nature of China’s people, nature and environment that endure as sights of devastating beauty."
The designers have focused on rendering beauty from destruction, using beautiful prints (to translate the dense network of highways) and vivid colors (that liken to satellite views of crowds of people and cities).
My favorite pieces from the collection -
Here are my favorites from Net à Porter (if I were to buy all of the following, the total would be just over £10,000. Whoa!)

All these dresses are so pretty! I REALLY REALLY want to go designer shopping sometime soon...
Leia, shop handmade jewelery always! It's more beautiful and often one of the kind or limited series. It's cheaper and you pay to support the artist and not the middleman. And it is easier to shop local. Have a look at this: http://www.etsy.com/listing/47064050/joyces-butterflies-black-and-white-cameo or this: http://www.etsy.com/listing/46951994/swallow-birdcage-necklace
And I think that this is a really cute dress: Alice & Olivia Georgette mini dress!

Love everything especially that Cavalli ring...I'm not a fan of Cavalli but his jewellery is alright!
You're right - the Shanghai Tang clothes are gorgeous! A while back Net-a-Porter did a competition to win a shopping spree on their website and I had so many daydreams about how much money I could spend on there if I had the opportunity! So many lovely things, so little time (and finances!)
It was so lovely at lunch today - thanks so much for inviting me!
