Take 10 Challenge 1: Dorothy Perkins Waistcoat

I wrote about the exciting Project Take10 a few weeks ago and we have all officially styled our first item.

Dorothy Perkins were kind enough to send each of us this waistcoat, which was gorgeous. I love wearing waistcoats, and this lace one was amazing.

EDIT: I realised that I actually hadn't posted how exactly I wore it: clever me!

I decided to have the main focus of the outfit on the waistcoat. I'm wearing 'Treggings'. (I always thought these were skinny trousers, but after googling the term this weekend, I realised that they are, in fact, Treggings), quite high heels, and a plain white tee.

Here are each of our takes on it:

I think it's incredible how different we styled the waistcoat, and it's so interesting to see different ways of wearing the same item. I'm definitely using these ladies for inspiration next time I wear the waistcoat.

You can follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook for the latest news and updates about our second challenge.

Once again, here are all the participants:

Jen from A Little Bird Told Me
MJ from Dreaming Spires & Old Car Tyres
Sherin from HiFashion
Leia from Leia's Delights
Vicki from Magpie Girl
Adele from Molto Curiosa
Saskia from Not Just Medical
Shini from Park & Cube
Sabine from Psynopsis
Sarah from We Shop Therefore We Are

How would all you have styled the waistcoat??

Sherin xx

Are treggings 'trouser leggings'? What's the difference?

This look is perfect for a concert.
