I was really lucky to be invited to the final, as well as hang out backstage beforehand as well.
I've never been backstage at a fashion show before, so this was definitely an experience. At first, I had no idea what to do. There were gorgeous, tall models walking around in next to nothing, as well as important people running around. I was given a tour of what was going on by the lovely Kat, from Yellowdoor PR, and she was definitely great company to have.
As soon as I knew what was happening, I whipped out my camera and took some pictures. I'd had a look at all the designs online and they all looked amazing, so I was looking forward to actually seeing them.
I next wandered around to see what the models were doing. They were all so pretty and it was a lot of fun seeing them getting ready. The Toni & Guy team were doing amazing jobs on all the model's hair and it was fun watching all the make up artists, from Florrie White, at work.
I then had a nice time mingling with some fellow bloggers, while being surrounded by lovely drinks and canapes. There were also some models there looking AMAZING.
We took our seats and I had a bit of a celebrity spotting session. I spotted Louise Redknapp across the catwalk, as well as Adam Gracia, who was hosting the show (he did a great job).
And the judges on the panel included Matthew Williamson and Helena Christiensen (who looked remarkable).
The designs were truely unique, so it was so much fun watching them. Here are some of my favourites.
Justin Singh: Canada
Kao Tsai Hsuan: Taiwan
Ayumi Kawase: Japan
Xu Yi: China
Sofie Insam: France. This was pretty cool. The model burst the balloons at the end of the catwalk and coloured power went everywhere. Awesome to say the least.
And then it was time to announce the top 3:
Third place was Ludovico Loffreda of Italy:
Second place was Amaya Carcamo of Spain:
And the winning design, which will be adapted by Triumph, was Nikolay Bojilov of Bulgaria:
What do you all think of the designs? Amazing, aren't they?
