Winter Winds

London is cold...very very cold. So when I won Amy's   Post It On Challenge from Tesco, I knew I had to pick something warm. If you've been reading my blog for a while, you'll know just how much I love Tesco's clothing right now. They've upped their game these past seasons and have come up with some wonderful and affordable pieces.

I decided to go for a warm and cosy coat, as I hadn't got round to buying one for the season yet. I always make sure that I get a classic coat that'll last at least a few years, instead of an 'on-trend piece' that only lasts on season.

(Sorry for the state of the pictures, I've caught a pretty nasty cold, that makes posing and smiling really hard!!)

I abslutely love this coat. It's so warm and I've been wearing it everytime I leave the house!! This is definitely the coat I'll be living in this season.

So, what coats do you all have this season?

I had a khaki green parka for three years that kept me warm throughout the most challending winters of my life. Sadly, one of the seams tore in a way it couldn't be fixed anymore. Since it was so warm, i opted to go for a brown parka this year again. It has a furry lined hood and cute buttons; I love it :)

You are right - it's important to go for something that'll last you a couple of years and can be worn with just about anything!

This coat is just adorable and it looks so sweet on you! Well here it's just too warm to have a coat on but the weather is nice enough for a sweater. So, I'm living in my Zara nautical-ish stripe sweater. =)

I have a coat from primark that's a few years old now.. saw someone walking past me with the same on in Birmingham the other, I was mortified. I've had to sow the lining so much but it's lovely and warm :)

That coat with the buttons is a classic!

Too bad the weather there is still worse, in here at least we´re getting some sun once in a while although the rain never left us.

Ooh what a fabulous choice; I love that coat on you, Sherin!

It's rarely cold enough for a coat in SoCal; thus, I basically live in my denim jacket and Aviator/Bomber jacket. They keep you warm enough, and always look fabulous! :)

What a cute coat!!! You look all cozy. I haven't got any new coats this seasons. Probably will be wearing all the ones from previous years!

I love your coat, Sherin! It fits perfectly and it goes with everything! You can't beat that!

I actually have two plaid coats for winter. One I got a few years ago from American Eagle that still looks brand new fortunately! Another I got from Urban Outfitters last winter that has this massive hood. I love it! I also snagged a green coat from H&M as well. :)

Ooh wow, that coat looks so snuggly! I have a heattech one from Uniqlo that is donig the job nicely at the moment - who says fashion needs to be exchanged for warmth?!

Very nice coat. You get well soon from the cold. And you still look nice even with this cold.

It looks warm and snuggly :-) My favorite coat is this really sweet pink thing, with big gold buttons. It looks adorable & cheers me up when it's cold!

I have a few coats, but I am sure you have seen them all!

I just wanted to say...before I use to wear a blazer of the top of a hoodie. I would leave the hoodie unzipped. I bet that you would like that style...just saying... If not.. Oh well. lol

Hi Sherin! It's a very nice and cozy coat! I have a Zara Jacket of goose feathers (I don't know if that's the name in English) but it's the warmest thing in my closet and we have been having pretty cold days over here!

That coat looks great! I definitely go for coats that last a few years rather than just what's hot right now. About a month ago, I bought a black winter coat similar to this one, but it's belted. Black goes with everything!

And that's awesome that you won that challenge!
