London Fashion Weekend

I know I said that all my LFW post's were done, but to be fair, this was technically LFWend. I won the bargainous challenge that I did in this post, and got a pair of Gold tickets for the event.

After wandering around Somerset House, we finally figured out where to pick up our goody bags (the most important part) and had a good rummage through (it was a good one: with Juicy Couture Perfume and lots of sweets). For those of you who've never been, LFWend is pretty much a HUGE maze of places selling clothes. We seriously got lost more than once, but it was a lot of fun. It was great to be surrounded by tons of gorgeous clothes, cheaper than at retail price. There were Twenty8Twelve tops going for £15, as well as DKNY t-shirts for £10!

We walked around for ages, as there was a lot to see and really enjoyed ourselves, entering raffles and drinking free cider. And naturally, we grabbed a few bargains. I'd gotten my first ever pay check the day before, so I was looking to spend spend spend. I bought this necklace from the Rubber Cow Co, for a fiver. I realised, when I got home, that I'll probably never wear it, but oh well.

I also bought the following necklace and bracelet from Malaya Jewellery. I can't believe I'd never heard of this company before. They did some of the cutest pieces of jewellery ever!! I am seriously hooked and will definitely be buying some more. The necklace is a skull pendent and is so unique and well made, while the bracelet, with the faux pearl is so pretty and delicate.

The Gold Tickets also gave us entry into the Catwalk and because we got there pretty early, we managed front row: yaaay. There was more cereal waiting for us on the seats and we settled down to watch the show. It was a round up of all the AW trends, that we should be wearing this season, with a special Catwalk show by BODYAMR (who I love, so was really excited about this). It was definitely a cool catwalk presentation and I was in love with the last BodyAMR dress.

LFW Outfit

I know I must have broken some kind of law, and may never be allowed back in LFW agai for telling you this...but I actually wore the same dress to more than one LFW Event(3 to be exact): *queue gasps and faints*.
I've been looking for a perfect LBD and found this one, on sale, from Tesco, so snapped it up. Anyway, I wore it to the TIA's (Thursday) and realised how fabulous it was...so wore it, for LFW, again on Friday and Monday.

But seriously though, what's more perfect than a LBD, and how pretty is the neckline on this one. I bought it from Tesco, and it was on sale! I was only on the website to 'research' some new clothes and ended up spending loads instead. My cardi is Max C (I've half put it on so you can see the dress's neckline/sleeves) and my shoes are my mum's and from River Island (it's great having a mum the same shoe size as you). I'd been living in flats for the last 4 days, so I decided flats was probably the best option.

Jasper Garvida: SS2011

Right, I promise: this is my last London Fashion Week post, and my, did I go out with a bang. I won an amazing prize on Jenny, from The Style PA's blog: Front Row at Jasper Garvida!!!! I'd never sat front row before and it's definitely an experience. I honestly don't think I could ever go back to regular sitting at shows now.

The show was pretty spectacular. The collection was so pretty and girly. There were colourful dresses and amazing headwear. I loved it.

I'm quite excited for the upcoming season now. I rarely wear colours like these, but I reckon they'd be a lot of fun to wear.

And to top it all off: the front row goody bags!! As soon as the show ended, I did the very cool thing of rummaging through my goody bag (containing hair polish, a few vouchers and other lovely tote bag) there and then, while others around me tutted.
The Jasper Garvida show was also great to catch up with fellow bloggers. All my favourites were there and we did all really enjoy ourselves.

Elliot J Frieze SS2011

I did go to quite a few different shows this London Fashion Week, but this one was definitely my favourite BY FAR. Elliot J Frieze is a Welsh born designer, and launched his debut collection last season. One of his loyal supporters is Anna Popplewell, who plays Susan in the Narnia films. She walked the catwalk this season and seriously looked great.

The reason that this was my favourite collection was that it was so wearable and perfectly preppy. It's definitely a look that I can see myself wearing happily during the next season. The quintessential British look is one of my personal favourites, so I absolutely loved it. The clothes were so well tailored and sophisticated, yet still really youthful and modern.

And here's some of Anna Popplewell, who seriously looked so stunning and classy.

Again, as my photos weren't the best, I got some of the catwalk from the PR Team:

This collection is definitely a classic! I love the beige and blues, and think the dress that Anna walked in looked really elegant.

Charlie Le Mindu SS2011 (Photo Heavy)

This show was first thing on Sunday morning and was definitely worth me waking up at 7 to get ready and go to it. Like with Paul Costelloe, Vitamin Water called me the night before with a last minute ticket and I was really excited for it.
For those of you who don't know, Charlie is the designer who had the really 'hairy' models last year, so naturally, I was really excited to see what was in store this year.

Photo Credit. This was one of last year's pieces.

The collection was really unique and, once again, I was happy to see sky high heels. A few of the models were completely naked (except for headpieces and shoes), which was really interesting. And the people watching were also the most interesting, coolest people ever. There was a man wearing something that can only be described as a blow up doll, and there was also this guy:

I don't know what it was about him, but he had this general aura of awesomeness. Anyway, here is some of the collection. Isn't it so unique and incredible?

I do love all the hair styles and all the hairy clothes: definitely Lady Gaga inspired. And how great does all the leopard print look?
