Yesterday, I ventured out of London, and into Reading, to meet up with blogger bff, Susie. I very rarely leave London in favour of another town in England, as all my trips tend to be abroad, so I was really excited to make the trip. It was only a 25 minute train journey, but I was still a bit scared of getting lost and ending up somewhere far away, hehe.
I got to Reading in one peace and was greeted by Susie and her very friendly dog, Bogart. He was so adorable!! I absolutely loved him. We walked back to her place and played a bit with Bogart. I have to say that, apart from fish, I've never had a pet, or actually ever really been near an animal, so was a bit unsure about what to do, but Bogart was so friendly and I got comfortable with playing with him quickly. Susie really found it funny when I tried to carry him (but it was nothing compared to what I'm like with kids!)

Next, we had a look round the shops, before heading for lunch. I've recently become obsessed with burritos, so we went to a Mexican place, where we had the most amazing burritos, followed by Krispy Kremes, which was right next door.
We spent the rest of the afternoon playing with Bogart, taking pictures, and generally having a lot of fun.

We then headed to the main part of the town, where Susie let out her inner turkey, hehe. This large thing was just standing there, so naturally we had to take a picture there.

We headed back to Susies house to pick up Bogart, and then went to the local park, which was so beautiful. The weather was amazing, so we had fun chilling in the park for a while. While sitting, we saw something run past quickly. I thought it was a dog, but turns out it was a deer (or something)!! We were so shocked to see a deer running around London! Definitely a random surprise!

I definitely love having Susie as my blogger bff. She's so much fun and we always have a great time when we go out! And Reading is such a beautiful place, and is only 25 minutes from London. We were lucky that the weather was pretty fantastic yesterday as well.
