As part of the Red Pump Project, bloggers are getting together and 'Rocking their Red Pumps' to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS among women and girls.
The campaign uses the red shoe as a symbol of empowerment to represent the strength and courage of women infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.
The Rock The Red Pump campaign is an annual initiative to commemorate National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. The aim this year was to get over 500 bloggers to take part and rock the red pump on this particular day: 10th March.

These are my red pumps. They're Steve Maddens, which I picked up from a charity shop. I absolutely love them!

Awww I really wish I had known about this today! I have a pair of red Jimmy Choo pumps that would be PERFECT! Sigh.
