Vintage Vogue

When I got the invite for the Sky Screening I was at in January, I also got a Vogue from January 15 1961. I've always wanted a Vintage Vogue and it was perfect to see all the fashion, tips and ads from the '60's. It was really good to see ads from companies that I actually use today (MaxFactor and Elizabeth Arden), and I loved looking through all the styles.

I had so much fun flicking through it and thought I'd share some of it with all of you.

Let me know what you think of these. Aren't they all gorgeous?

Vintage Vogues are the best! a joy to read and flip through. I'm really lucky that at NIFT, Delhi we have access to Old Vogues from all over the world :)

I'm glad I came across your blog! It's a great read.

i want in on the 'vintage vogue' action too!
the cover shot is amazing!
would'nt it be awesome if a store actually sold vintage/old magazines in mint condition?

Oh my God, vintage Vogue! I am dying of envy, I've always wanted to get my hands on a copy- particularly one that dates back to the mid-fifties/early sixties. It's just as beautiful as I always imagined. Thanks for sharing :)

That is beautiful! I love the soft colours and the adverts too, things are much the same today except I suspect there are more adverts in a modern Vogue! :)
