Take 10 Challenge 12: Stolen Thunder Necklace

 Collage500

This month's Take10 Piece was a necklace sent over by Stolen Thunder. We had a choice of which  word to have on the necklace, and I opted for 'Groupie', as I'm such a fan of bands.

Although a bit on the small side, it's a fun little necklace to have and will be fun to wear to gigs. It's not something that would stand out or anything, just an accessory. I paired it with my signed Funeral Party tee (which I won in a photography competition ages ago). I thought a signed tee and Groupie necklace would be the perfect combination, especially since I'm a huge Funeral Party fan. Although, if I'm honest, I probably would never wear a signed tee to a gig, or go with such messy hair!!

And here's how everyone else wore their necklaces:

Jen from A Little Bird Told Me
MJ from Dreaming Spires & Old Car Tyres
Sherin from HiFashion
Vicki from Magpie Girl
Paula of Pinkbow
Ellie of Pretty Much Penniless
Sabine from Psynopsis
Susie from TakeOut in Couture
Sarah from We Shop Therefore We Are
Harriet from Where is Harriet

For some reason this outfit made me smile a lot - I think the idea of putting a 'Groupie' necklace with a band t-shirt just tickled me pink!

I don't like wearing my band t-shirts to gigs, and they're not even signed! Much to precious to risk getting them doused in someone else's drink (always seems to happen to me at gigs :P). x

Haha, what's a better way to style a Groupie necklace than with a band shirt. It looks awesome, I want one too! :D

I love the way you have worn the necklace with a band tshirt, very rock and roll. Sometimes I thing understated accessories are perfect for the outfit

Cute necklace, but you're right - it's a shame it doesn't stand out more, but perhaps it would also look good layered with other accessories. Love your choice of words and tee!
