Rest of LFW (Photo heavy...again)

So, this will be my last post on everything I got up to during this season's London Fashion Week. I was at a lot of shows this season, so obviously I can't post them all, but here are some highlights from Monday and Tuesday.

On Monday, Vitamin Water kindly offered me tickets to the Christian Blanken presentation, so a huge thank you to them! I loved the presentation as the clothes were gorgeous. They were simple and so classy. I loved the 'city chic' vibe to the looks and everything looked wearable. They'd be perfect for work to a night out.

This above look is probably my favourite from the whole of Fashion Week. It's amazing.

I went over to the Vauxhall Fashion Scout after the presentation for Fashion Shenzhen. There were two different collections on display and the first one was really pretty. For any Firefly/Serenity fans out there, it reminded me a lot of what Inara would wear: there were a lot of sparkles and jewel tones. I really wish I could have taken better pictures, but my camera was very low on battery and died early on in the show. But I definitely recommend you check out the collection somewhere online.

I started late on Tuesday and started at the Joanne Hynes Show, at the Vauxhall Fashion Scout. It was another really fabulous collection, with a lot of sparkles and colour. All the colourful pieces really made it a fun show. And the hairstyles were amazing.

I had a few hours free before my next show, so decided to check out some of the designers at the exhibition. I love checking out the exhibitions at Fashion Week as it's a great way to find out about designers that you otherwise wouldn't know about. Both Reena and I fell in love with a new jewellery designer: Kyle Hopkins. We know I'm a fan of statement jewellery and this jewellery was incredible. It was so unique and different. We also got to have a quick chat with the designer and he was pretty awesome.

My last show of the day was Fearne Cotton for Very. I own a few pieces from Fearne's previous collections, so was really excited to check out the new collection. The event was so much fun and it was great for celeb spotting. Whitney Port, Kelly Cutrone, Myleene Klass, half of McFly (my teenage self got really excited when I saw them) and Fearne's BFF, Holly Willoughby were all there, looking great. I love Holly; she looked so proud of her BFF, and didn't even sit down! Don't you just love celebrity BFF stories. The collection for Very is amazing as well.  It had a lot of really pretty dresses and I could see myself wearing more than one piece.

I definitely needed a break after all the Fashion Week running around, so ended LFW on a high. I was very kindly invited to try out a free drink from Circus Bar (in Covent Garden) that they put together specifically for LFW, called The Pink Runway. The drink contained Pink Pigeon Rum, lime juice, Cranberry Juice and Ginger Beer. This was definitely the perfect drink to unwind after LFW, not to mention 10% of every sale goes to the Ethical Fashion Forum.

The drink itself was delicious. It tasted so good and was definitely what I needed after days of running around in heels.

The venue, Circus, was amazing as well, and I'll defintiely be going back there. There were a lot of mirrors and even some pretty cool entertainment. Before we left, the was a fire dancer and breather, and it was incredible to watch.

The rum used was Pink Pigeon Rum, which is named after a rare bird that is only found in Mauritius. It's a gorgeous bottle and contains distilled Rum, blended with hand picked natural vanilla. The drink is available till Sunday, so head on over to Circus and try it out for yourself.

As ever, all pictures can be found on my Facebook Page.

Fashion Week always looks like such fabulous fun, I wish we had something that even came close in Vancouver, but there's absolutely no way to compare. Loved looking through all of these shots- the more, the better, as far as I'm concerned :)
