With winter already here, it's time to start looking for pretty winter clothes. I always love dressing for this time of the year as there are so many cute jeans, skirts, boots and jumpers out there, all for the taking.
This year, I've been hooked on getting the perfect winter coats and jackets, and have found a gorgeous selection from La Redoute, and they're all pretty affordable too. In recent years, I've stuck to the normal black or grey coats, but my mission is to get some unique and colourful ones for this year.
Here are my 5 favourites from the website:
It's always good to have at least one warm, classic coat, that can be worn time after time, no matter the occasion. I love this slightly tailored coat that will come in handy in the coldest months, as well as look timeless with whatever you pair it with.
This suede coat was one of my favourites from the website. It looks really warm and so comfortable, making it a true must have. I love the faux fur on it as well as it gives it an extra special touch. This would be a great coat that you could wear to make a statement and snuggle up in.
I love the check pattern on this high collar coat. It's a coat that will take you all the way from early Autumn, straight to early Spring, making is a versatile and practical coat.
I need this colourful take on the classic trench coat. Trenches are a staple for most girls, but a coloured one will be amazing to have. I love this bright colour and the coat is sure to make you stand out and brighten up any dark winters days.
This is another colourful option, but would be a lot easier to wear on a day to day basis. It's such a pretty colour and the short length means that you'd be able to wear it with anything you want, from a pair of jeans, to a cute skirt.
Which of these coats has caught your eye?

I always get so nervous about cold/wet weather. To me, it usually means sacrificing fashion for warmth and dryness. Correct me if I'm wrong, but none of these really look lined and they certainly aren't all weatherproof. I've been looking around recently for a new coat myself, but I have a long list of things it MUST have, and the cute and stylish ones are usually lacking in quality.
I really like the colour of the last one, though. I support the desire to have a brightly coloured coat :)
I can never have enough coats and jackets! I really like the coral color one!

Totally agreeing with Tanvi here, one can never have too many coats (especially when living in Finland...) ;) and that coral one is amazing, though they're all amazing! Great post! xoxo
I love the suede shearling jacket... looks very cosy! But you're missy the all important faux fur coat! x
I am not reay for winter yet! : ) It's already snowing in NYC and we haven't yet had a proper autumn. I love the proportions of the last coat and the shearling is fantastic.

I love the first look so much. The coat is gorgeous and it looks amazing with the red shoes. I bought a coat on the weekend even though it is almost summer because I loved it so much and it was an incredible sale.
i love the bold red colour although i could never wear anything like it, i stick to darker colours for coats...but then it goes with everything! thankyou for the lovely comment by the way :)

I love the suede coat and the last one. That's lovely.
I think my favorite is the third one: nice shape and pattern! As I said in a previouspst, I'm so happy I can finally wear somewarm clothes...the Indian summe was really weird!
