Glamorous Dress

Second pink dress this week: this probably needs to stop. This one is a sweet one. And the weather seems to have improved, if only just slightly, so I could go out without tights and a heavy coat.

Dress - Glamorous
Shoes - Matalan
Watch - Michael Kors (so much love for this watch)
Bracelets - Assortment from New Look, a Middle Eastern Market and WANT

It's such a cute dress, but I thought I'd toughen it up with some edgier boots I picked up from Matalan the day before. Together, they are an amazing combination. It makes the whole look stand out a lot more than if I'd paired the dress with heels or flats. I am definitely going to be rocking the two together again.

And I finally managed to get a few links taken out of the Michael Kors watch. I love it so much now. I was in total need to a treat when I got it. Just goes to show: if you've wanted something expensive for a while, it's definitely worth saving up and treating yourself.

How would you toughen up a girly dress?

I do love that dress, but I'm pretty sure both Kathy and I wanted to rip that watch off of your wrist last night - it was lovely to catch up! x

Yeah I like to wear dresses with sneakers, just to toughen the outfit up a bit. I like the idea of boots with the dress. And nice watch!

I love the dress, it's such a nice colour and suits you well. I think a leather jacket would also toughen up a girly dress.

I would toughen up a girly dress with a studded headband and some gladiators.
