One of my favourite things about London Fashion Week is getting to dress up...a lot. I love doing mini outfit changes for evening events, and this is one of my favourites. I wore it on one of the evenings, but decided to re-take the pictures to include a gorgeous pair of Jonathan Aston tights.
There are no words to describe my love of Qulit and this skirt in particular! I discovered the brand a few months ago (see post here) and absolutely fell in love - and I know for a fact I wasn't the only one to do so. The whole collection is amazingly cool and Reena, the face behind the brand, is so lovely. I was lucky enough to borrow some pieces for Fashion Week and this skirt has made it's way to my heart. We know how much I love spikes (and black), so naturally this skirt is a favourite of mine. I love that the first thing my mum said when she saw me in the skirt was not to stand too close to other people so that I don't injure them!
Aren't these Jonathan Aston tights really cool? I picked them up from 'The Apartment' (our bloggers hangout during Fashion Week) and it was perfect timing. I'd realised the morning before that all my black opaque tights were ripped - I found 6 ripped tights in my drawer! I love the polka dot print on these ones too. It really makes them stand out. The brand focuses on making so really lovely tights in a whole host of prints and styles, which is enough to add a bit of fun to any outfit, no matter the weather. A massive thank you to the lovely girls at Bright Light PR for hooking me up with these and a whole host of other goodies I can't wait to share!
What do you think of printed yd tights? How would you wear a spiked skirt?
