Dove Spa and Toni & Guy

I have some new beauty loves to share and they've been working perfectly for me (unlike the hair gel I accidentally used on my face one morning - it was too early for me).

I've been using Dove Spa recently and my skin has been loving them. There is clear sign of stress in my face these days, and these products have done a great job bringing my face back to life.
Dove Spa has spas across the UK, and they offer some great treatments, as well as some fabulous skincare products, that is not to be confused with Dove's normal line.
I've been using their 'Count Your Blessings' Day Cream, 'For Starters' Cleansing Cream and 'First Love' Cleansing Mousse. All three products are so perfect for my skin and work particularly well.

The Day Cream is definitely my favourite. I'm used to using heavier creams on my face but I love that I've switched to something lighter. It's a very light cream and lightly illuminating, giving my face a bit of glow that lasts all day. It's suited best for dry skin which is perfect: with winter here, our heating has been on full blast, leaving my skin very dry. I heavily recommend you guys to buy this product if you're on the hunt for a new day cream: it is remarkable.

The Cleansing Cream is perfect too. It's a richer cream than the day cream but works really well as a cleanser. I've been using the same cleanser for over a year now, so I was excited about trying something new, and I'm glad I did. My face definitely feels cleaner and fresher after I use this: at the end of my day.

I've been using the Cleansing Mousse as well, which has a lovely foamy texture to it. I haven't used it as much as the other two yet, but I'm loving it so far. Again, my skin feels cleaner after using this and it is perfect to clean my face after a long day.

I've also been giving my hair a bit of personality with my new Toni & Guy Deep Barrel Waver. I have naturally curly hair, but if you're a regular reader of my blog, you wouldn't have seen my natural hair in a while. As much as I would love to embrace my natural curls, they are impossible to tame, which is where the Deep Barrel Waver comes in. It's does a great job cleaning up my curls with sexy and glamorous curls, and the 32mm plates mean that they are bouncy too.

What I love is that they come with Unique Colour Lock Technology that means they are designed to enhance shines and protect your hair, while also locking in your colour.
It has different settings and temperatures meaning you can create a whole host of different styles depending on what temperature you have it on.
The waver is such an intricately designed piece and is surprisingly easy to use. All you do is clamp your hair in between the two sides, then leave it in place for a few seconds, before moving down your hair in the same way. My curls came out so pretty and defined: a nice little change from my usual hair style. And the best bit; it's very affordable. At just £35 this is a perfect waver to have in your collection, and great for adding a bit of fun and volume to your hair.

I hate that I haven't had time to photograph my hair every time I try it, but hopefully soon! I can't wait to share what my hair looks like.

What are you using on your skin these days? Have you tried the Deep Barrel Waver?

Sherin xx

These products look so lovely! Fab hair styler too. I've tried a waver but it was too small and left me looking like I'd been crimped...
