Pumped up Kicks

Just a super quick post with the outfit that I wore on the plane. All too many times, we see people travel in sweats, UGGs and a hoody, but I do like to make an effort. I feel that looking good while travelling means that I feel so much more refreshed when I step off the plane.

Wearing:
Jacket - Miss Selfridge (yes, the 100th time I've worn it - well with the price)
Top - zara
Jeans - H&M
Shoes - Nike Via Sarenza

It was very cold in London, but is scorching in Dubai, so it was hard to dress and wear something that I could have one in both countries, so I decided to layer. I literally striped down as soon as I landed as it was 3 Degrees Celsius in London when I left....and 28 degrees C in Dubai when I landed! I do love the top though. I bought in a size larger than I usually wear and it was so comfortable for the plane. It was a night flight so I slept for the whole 7 hours.

And these shoes are my new pride and joy. I already love the wedged sneaker trend, so I decided to invest in a pair of Nike ones too. I have to say they are the coolest shoes I own for sure. I love the pumped up effect at the front and how they look so cool with a pair of jeans. They came the day before my flight and walking around airports in them was very comfortable.

What do you wear while travelling?

Absolutely love those shoes - true proof that sneakers can be stylish :) I'm like you, I want to be comfortable on the plane but still look good. If I arrive at my destination in sweats, I never feel quite like myself!

Very cute! Something I'd totally wear on the plane. I always have trouble flying from NYC to Cali to visit family during the winter because it's like 30 degrees and snowing in New York but it's like 70 degrees in California. Definitely opt for layers!

Such a pretty, laid back look!

I wore a black jersey Forever 21 dress (you know the one with draped sleeves and mesh at the back?) with black leggings, flip flop material sandals, and my denim jacket. Oh, and my favourite pashmina!

You lucky one! I'm with you all the way - it's nice to look put-together when travelling. The shoes are GREAT! I wonder, are they wedges or flat? xoxo

I tend to wear leggings or jeans and then layer vests and jackets. I hate that about travelling, when you leave it's freezing and the air con on the plane can be quite cool and then when you land you feel like you're going to melt, so it's good to have layers that you can take off. Hope you're having a great holiday :) xx

I go for leggings and tunic top with ballet flats, that way I'm comfy but still feel good. I always take a huge pashmina on flights too.
You must have been so hot in jeans and trainers when you landed!

Those are fabulous - you've got the flying look down. I usually wear flats or something that's easy to slip on or off. I have yet to graduate to the levels of Victoria Beckham and rock sky-high heels through the airport. Maybe someday? You look gorgeous as per usual :)
