Bench have a special place in my heart. I went to a press day where they were one of the brands on display and it was freezing outside. I hadn't dressed for the weather, and was soaked to the bone by the time I got to the press day. The amazing people at Canoe Inc PR ended up giving me an over sized Bench hoody to dry me off and keep me warm, and that was my first real meeting with the brand. Since then, I've looked more into the brand and absolutely love some of their pieces.
The hoody itself was so warm and cosy, and I still have it today. And the collections are always full of trendy and wearable pieces.
Their look books are always so fun and colourful, and the upcoming one for SS13 is no different. I know I could definitely do with this bright coat below. I literally need it to be warmer so I can wear some of their cute pieces!
This is all part of Bench's Self Made campaign - which is a creative platform that celebrates people who make things happen. The platform is a beg part of the brand, especially as it has a more independent side to it. The SS13 line see's the brand taking inspiration from New York and looked at the all incredible people there, who made things happen.
And there's a lovely video to go with the collection too!

Ha! I work in Bench in Portsmouth so have seen some of the newer stock already coming into store, but I'm looking forward to ditching the hoodies and grabbing some tees and vests!
