This fashion season, skirts are trending everywhere: in all sizes, materials, and colors, of course!  All around street style and runway shows, girls went crazy about them. The designers like Dior, Victoria Beckham, and others showed us a lot of models, that very soon became our new favorites skirt trends.

The most presentable and the most favorite ones were pleated midi skirts, plaid (in combo with blazers and pants) and long skirts. They appeared a lot on the It-girls from the fashion world and it was amazing to see all the combinations that they were wearing.

That is how I have found my inspiration for this post.

Pleated Skirts

Oh, the pleads. A trend that our moms used to adore before it has completely disappeared. But thankfully, they are back in town! And guess what, they look pretty amazing. Are you wondering how the It-girls are wearing them? Let’s check it out, fashionista!

Italians do it best, is that right? Well, after this wonderful outfit combination that we have seen, personally, I can’t agree more! Vogue editor Giovanna Battaglia really knows how to wear pleads and rainbow colors together, and make it so that it still doesn’t look over-the-line!

On the other hand, if you are a fan of dressing only in one color, then you should definitely try this! Another Italian It-girl was walking in this cool monochrome outfit combo, and all the eyes were on her!

Mixing different materials was always a good thing to do. If that is not amusing to you, then what is it?! Try wearing the skirt that had pleads in two materials (cotton and tulle), just like in the photo above.
